Destinasjon Geilo BA

Destinasjon Geilo (DG) in its current form was founded in 1993 as a co-operative society, with shares spread among a large number local organizations – more than 100 companies have shares in DG today. Destinasjon Geilo is a private company, financed primarily by share payments from the various owners.

The main task of Destination Geilo is to market Geilo as a destination nationally and internationally.

DG has five full-time employees who concentrate primarily on marketing Geilo to tour operators, the media and the rest of the market – so that as many people as possible choose Geilo as a destination – both summer and winter.
