Try snow kiting in Geilo
Kiting is growing fast in popularity and Geilo is well known for snow kiting in Norway.
Kiting can be practised anywhere there is snow and open terrain. Frozen lakes, plateaus and snow covered fields are excellent. You don’t need much more than a pair of skis or snowboard, helmet, harness (saddle) and a kite to have incredible fun!
The risk of becoming totally addicted is very high, and before you know it you’ll be checking the weather forecast hoping for windy weather. Kite skiing suits the whole family. If you are small and light or want to take it easy, it is possible to choose a smaller kite that creates less drag.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturday kl.10.00:
