Skarverennet

Skarverennet is the largest cross country race in the world and goes from Finse to Ustaoset (38 km). There is also an alternative route from Haugastøl to Ustaoset (26 km).

 
Next year’s Skarverenn will take place 30th of April 2011. Thousands of ski enthusiasts can experience the most beautiful winter adventure!

The number of participants is limited to 12 220 skiers. It takes place in open mountain terrain, where the safety of the skiers is prioritised, the vulnerability of the environment is taken into consideration and transport capacity is stretched to its limit.

The Skarverenn 2010 was a fantastic experience with wonderful sunshine. A total of 30.000 people usually visit Geilo this particular weekend.
