Geilo Camping og Hytter

Geilo Camping offers campsites for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

For caravans / motorhomes and the cabins without shower and toilet, we have common sanitary facilities.

The sanitary facilities offer:

• Shower
• Toilet
• Washing room with cold and hot water
• Drying room for boots and clothes
• Washing machine
• Wash dryer

The area
Ustedalsvassdraget runs in scenic surroundings past Geilo. The water shed varies between little and much water bound together by the river thump. The accessibility is very good with walk and bike paths around the water shed. Some places are accessible by car. Facilities for the handicapt, with a shelter and barbecue area, are now complete.

Ustedalsfjord is a fisherman's dream. There are very good population of trout (100-300 g), medium population of trout (200-700 g) and a small population of whitefish (400 to 1200 g). The fish is at times very willing to bite and the catche of 20-30 fish in an hour is not an exception. You can rent boats from us. Ice fishing for arctic charr is also good with a morning catche up to 40-50 charr, mainly 100-200 g. Ice fishing is free and Geilo Camping facilitate this fishing for our guests by lining and signposting the fishing spots. Ice fishing takes place from about 15 November to 1 May.
