Take a glacier hike on Hardangerjøkulen, the 6th largest glacier in Norway, 1806 metre above sea level. Hardangerjøkulen lies 1806 metre above sea level and is the 6th largest glacier in Norway. At the roof of the Hardangervidda the blue color of the ice is unique - and the view is fantastic.

The tour starts in Geilo where you take the train from Geilo to Finse (1222 m). In Finse the glacier guide meets you at the station. After a 1,5 hour hike you arrive at the glacier.

Remember to wear warm clothes, a cap, gloves, rainwear and solid shoes.
Bring a packed lunch for the day.

Trains depart from Geilo daily at 10:15 a.m.- and arrive in Finse at 11:10 a.m.

Trains depart from Finse daily at 6:18 p.m. - and arrive in Geilo at 6:57 p.m.

Insurance and necessary glacier equipment is included in the price.

Price: kr. 550 + train ticket. A personal gift is included.

Train tickets: Adults T / R kr. 206, Children T / R kr. 104, children aged 15 years and younger travel free with an adult paying the full ticket price. Discount cards are available at the Tourist Information  and provides a 20% discount.

Age: Children from 12 years and in good form and health can participate.
