Exhibition Dagali Museum

Local artist Gunnveig Nerol has a summer exhibition at Dagali museum with wood carving, paintings and ceramic work.
Dagali Museum
Located in the middle of the mountain village Dagali at the gateway to the Hardangervidda. Teacher Gunnar Stensen (1870 - 1970) gathered and built up this private museum. In 1947 he gave the museum to the village of Dagali. In addition to the exhibition building with artefacts, there are a total of ten buildings at the museum, most from the 18th and 19th centuries. Buildings and objects come mainly from Dagali but also from Skurdalen, Tunhovd and Uvdal.

Gunnveig Nerol
Gunnveig Nerol, born 1958 in Geilo, is a Norwegian visual artist living in Hol in Hallingdal. She she is very productive and works in several techniques and materials. Gunnveig Nerol is particularly known for her work in oil, drawing and glass. She mainly works with drawing, preferably with a separate theme over a longer period. The results she works out she often translates into several art expressions such as painting and stained glass. She has performed a number of monumental tasks in and on public buildings.

Activity day
On the activity day at the 18. of july will there be an outdoor church serving starting at 12:00 o'clock.
