Fagerli Leirskole og Aktivitetssenter

Fagerli Leirskole og Aktivitetssenter is situated 860 m.a.s.l in Skurdalen, 9 km from Geilo. Nature school for children.

Fagerli School Camp and Activity Center is located in Skurdalen, between Geilo and the activity village of Dagali – actually, right in the middle of everything. Since 1971, Fagerli has welcomed students from all over to the school camp situated 860 meters above sea level. When it's not being used for school camps, the place is open for groups looking to have gatherings in the mountains with fun activities.

Fagerli School Camp is a foundation with the aim of providing children, youth, and everyone else with rich experiences. Throughout the year, there are experiences and activities aligned with nature on the agenda – this also serves as an offering for weekend guests and groups who wish to rent accommodations outside of the regular school schedule.

The rooms at Fagerli are of good standard, each with its own bathroom. Most rooms have two bunk beds, accommodating four people. There are also some family rooms. Altogether, it can accommodate up to approximately 80 guests.

The food is homemade and is said to cater to even the most discerning palate, whether for adults or students. A weekend stay includes dinner on Friday, breakfast with a packed lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and dinner on Saturday.

The area surrounding Fagerli is filled with fun activities both in summer and winter. A frisbee golf course, football field, toboggan hill, table tennis, and generally many games and fun activities in every direction. The toboggan hill and the football/volleyball field are also lit up at night. In spring, summer, and fall, canoes are available for guests at no charge. In winter, there's an ice rink, and ski trails start from the property, connecting to a large network of ski trails in all directions. If you're enticed by skiing, there are opportunities for discounted ski passes.

Rafting is a popular activity during the spring at the school camp, and Fagerli is a great starting point for groups planning to raft in Dagali. The entire month of May and large parts of June are available for school classes seeking mountain experiences. During this time, there's also a pedagogical program available with orienteering or other activities that offer both learning and fun simultaneously. Fagerli Games are also a fun alternative for weekend guests and groups looking for something social and informal that everyone can participate in.

Fagerli also offers:

A traditional Sami hut with space for 60-70 guests. Lunch/dinner can be served here.
