Cultural event for all age groups. Festival in fantastic nature with local history and world class music.
It is 20 years since Gunnveig Nerol and Terje Isungset left their artistic mark on Fekjo Kulturminnepark. The Fekjo Festival marks the 20th anniversary with these beautiful local artists in collaboration with the musicians Vegard Dreier, Amalie H. Kleive, Magne Tormodsæter, Sondre Veland and the choir Bris. Fekjo's Friends are organizers and will show the fantastic cultural treasure Hol municipality has.

Sunday, August 22nd
12.45 Cultural walk from Geilojordet to Fekjo.
The walk starts with storytelling theater at 13.00 on Geilojordet. The journey continues along the Ustedalsfjord and ends with a guide at Fekjo burial ground.
14.30 Adventure time in Fekjo Cultural Heritage Park

Free cake and drinks for everyone

There are benches and tables to sit at. You can also bring your picnic blanket.
This is a non-alcoholic event. A festival for everyone between 0-110 years.

How to get to the Fekjo Festival?
We recommend everyone to walk or bike to the festival. Fekjo Kulturminnepark is located right by the hiking trail around Ustedalsfjorden and there is a great hiking trail all the way. Geilo city center is 3.5 km away. If you come by car, there is the exit Skarsetvegen after Tuftelia Kro. Follow further signs. Parking at Tuftebrui and at Fløtagutu gravel roof.
